Hi everyone!
This is my last week in Cambodia. Time has gone by so fast! Not even gonna lie it’s going to be super difficult for me to leave this place. The people, culture, and environment have won my heart. I’ve made so many amazing memories here. And I hope that I have allowed the Lord to use me to bring glory to His kingdom. As I have been here. I’ve realized just how much we take for granted.
For example the people in the villages play the same worship songs on their radio and you would think that after a while they’d probably be sick of hearing those songs over and over again, but on the contrary they do the complete opposite. Every time they sing those songs they sing them wholeheartedly and they worship the Lord with all they have. They have so much joy in worshiping the Lord. And they are always eager to learn about God and His goodness. They are always so excited to be in Bible study. We also take for granted being able to read the Bible. Several people in the villages aren’t able to read for themselves. They have to rely on others to read to them. Some don’t even have a Bible for themselves.
This is just a burden that’s been placed on my heart. My prayer is that you all serve the Lord with a joyful spirit and a heart ready to serve Him. Worship Him with all you are and all you have!
“Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt his name together!” Psalm 34:3
